BACK TO SCHOOL...NEW BEGINNINGS...NEW DREAMS
Posted on 09 August 2016
"I sit by and watch the river flow / I sit by and watch the traffic go
Imagine something of your very own / something you can have and hold
I'd build a road in gold just to have some dreamin'
Dreamin' is free / Dreamin', dreamin' is free”

This time of year has become a bit nostalgic for me. Back to school when you’re a teacher means an end to lazy summer days, back to routine, and a lot of preparing for eager and excited students. It’s the time of year you make those grandiose plans of your vision for the school year where there is nothing holding you back and no limit to your dreams and what you want to achieve.
This time of year also represents when we launched Kamari Kids a year ago. Although I am no longer a teacher, being co-owner of Kamari Kids with my very best friend has become much of the same thing. I find myself still making those grandiose plans with a renewed excitement of what this next year will hold for us. At this moment there is nothing holding us back. There is no limit to the new ideas we have and certainly no limit to our dreams as we begin this new season.
This new season also means back to school clothes shopping – always exciting if you love fashion as much as we do. How awesome is it when you can find an excuse to shop? We are beyond excited for the new fashions we have curated for your lil’ rockstars this fall.
Our new collection of Lauren Moshi is exactly that. If you have ever touched an article of clothing from Lauren Moshi you know what we’re talking about. It is a sensory experience and it will be that piece of clothing your child will never want to take off. Kids want to start school off with their cool new threads but most of all they want to be comfortable.
Many classrooms today represent students sharing creative ideas, learning from each other, while lounging comfortably on pillows on the classroom rug or meeting area - a place where they can dream. It is a perfect setting for comfy sweats, tees and light pullovers that feel like PJ's but are styled to perfection. It should be representative of who they are because ultimately that’s when they are the most confident and will be the most productive and successful. We have chosen some great looks for your eager and excited students for the start of this school year. Maybe even share some of your favorite rock tunes with them to bring even more meaning to their cool new threads.
